Twitter Marketing: Social Media to Grow Your eCommerce Dropship Business

 
Twitter marketing is a phrase you will see a lot of these days, as it is one of the most powerful tools of social media marketing that can be used to grow and build your ecommerce dropship business. 

What is Twitter marketing?

Simply put, Twitter marketing consists of using this social media site to build relationships with others, growing and building your business in the process.

Tweets and Twitter marketing can be enormously successful IF you follow a few basic rules.

First of all, please don’t do what too many entrepreneurs are doing lately, which is polluting Twitter and other social media sites with bait and switch type messages!

Some unscrupulous entrepreneurs don’t seem to understand the way social media is supposed to work.

Don’t send out a blatant sales pitch disguised as a Tweet, please!

If users don’t respect the etiquette of social media, they’ll be killing the goose that lays the golden eggs and ruining it for all of us.

Remember that in order for social media marketing to work for your dropship business effectively, the cornerstone is building relationships. This does not mean having thousands of so-called followers on Twitter that are nothing but the results of some kind of lead harvesting software program. It means real, bona fide relationships with people you can market your products to. Big difference!

One way of finding the right kind of people on Twitter to build relationships with is to look at others who are in the same or a similar market as you are, and seeing who is following them.

Once you have found some Twitter users who appear to be the types that would be interested in your website, then initiate contact and begin building a relationship with them. 

Twitter, or any social media community, is based on trust.

You must establish and build trust before anything else on Twitter. Perhaps you might begin by giving away something of value, such as information, a helpful free download, or something similar.

Little by little, as you acquire followers and gain trust, you can start to Tweet about things that will lead interested followers to your website. 

Twitter marketing can be tremendously effective if you do it right, and can be immensely beneficial to your ecommerce dropshipping business!

Although I do not currently own a dropship company, I am really really interested in getting one started.  
 
 
 
So firstly if anyone could lead me in the right direction to get started it would be greatly appreciated.  
 
 
 
Secondly, I think that as you said providing some general incentives by providing some free information or perhaps samples to the first 10 visitors to come to your website are great ways of utilizing twitter as a marketing engine.

DSA is a very good Drop shipper to use and a good way to get started out fast and easy,mostly Drop shippers have applications for you to use to help out with marketing needs.
