eBay Dropship Alternatives: Ready to Cut the eBay Apron Strings?

If you are an eBay dropship seller who is fed up with the constant fee hikes, unlevel playing field and a broken search function that has stalled sales for many sellers since March, then you may be ready to finally cut the eBay apron strings and look at some alternatives for selling.

The good news is that there are some decent eBay alternatives out there, and some of them are getting stronger every day, gaining new members by the droves, and hopefully soon to be in the position to give dear old FeeBay a run for its money!

Some of these eBay alternatives are not for all sellers. For example, Amazon at this point in time does not allow the sale of used or vintage clothing. There have been unsubstantiated rumors of this changing, and no doubt there will be dancing in the streets if and when it does!

EBay Alternatives:

Amazon:
Amazon, or “The River” as it is referred to on the eBay Discussion boards where mentioning an alternative site by name can get you suspended from posting, is a great alternative to eBay for many sellers. The fees aren’t that much cheaper than eBay’s, but you actually get the exposure you pay for, which is a refreshing change from eBay these days.

Bonanzle: Bonanzle is an up and coming eBay alternative that is growing by leaps and bounds as disgusted eBay sellers move there for some relief from the stress and horrendous expense of selling products on eBay. Fees are low, in fact you pay nothing to list and only a small fee when your item sells.

Facebook Payvment
: This ecommerce solution from Facebook is still under-used, but eBay sellers are starting to discover it and so far the reports have been extremely favorable. It’s 100% FREE, and with a potential customer base of over 500 million---what would you have to lose?

eCrater:
eCrater has very low fees and is acquiring new members daily as eBay sellers jump the sinking ship and head for friendlier waters. It is a well designed and user friendly site, and appears to be gaining a lot of followers, both buyers and sellers.

Check out some of these eBay alternatives as a marketplace for your online dropshipping sales, and cut those eBay apron strings!
