  • Check to make sure that your website can accommodate various channels and platforms. Your content needs to be available for all sorts of shoppers, including those using mobile platforms such as smartphones.

  • Be sure your site is easily navigated and user friendly to the nth degree! Online shoppers are a notoriously impatient lot and if you have misdirects, broken links, slow loading pages, bad code, slow and overly complicated checkout, etc. ---you will lose a lot of sales! If you aren’t already using breadcrumb navigation, you should consider getting it in place and functioning smoothly before the heavy holiday traffic.

  • Offer customers multiple payment options. Yes, most folks have a Paypal account but not all online shoppers use Paypal, and some of those that do might not want to use it for their purchase from you. Besides that, it’s always a good idea to have multiple payment gateways in case one goes down. If a shopper is ready to checkout and can’t because your one and only payment gateway is temporarily unavailable…..you’ve lost a sale.

  • If your dropship website isn’t set up to accept coupons and promotions such as percent-off deals; fix it! While internet retail analysts predict that even more shoppers than ever before will be buying on the internet this holiday season, they are also predicting that many of these shoppers will be actively hunting deals. So, you want to be able to offer great deals!
