Dropship Sales Won’t Work on eBay: True or False?

If you have a dropship business, you may have heard a lot about how dropshipping on eBay won’t work.

But, the truth of the matter is that it will work and in fact; is working for many sellers!

Much of an entrepreneur’s success or failure on eBay is the same as in any other endeavor---strictly dependent on who is doing it and how they might be going about it.

eBay has extremely stringent rules, that’s true. But if you are careful and watch your Ps and Qs, you can be quite successful with dropship selling in the eBay marketplace!

You absolutely must provide superior customer service to have a chance of succeeding on eBay. Even then, you will have the occasional impossible-to-please or downright unbalanced buyer who will trash your feedback and/or Detailed Seller Ratings for no valid reason.

But, if you have gone the extra mile to provide excellent customer service, you can count on the majority of your normal, reasonable buyers to keep your feedback and DSRs high enough to meet eBay standards.

If you are doing dropship sales on eBay, be honest with your buyers about when to expect delivery of their widgets. It isn’t necessary, or probably even desirable, to divulge that their item will be dropshipped.

However, you do need to furnish people a basic arrival date so that they will know when to be looking for the package.

Regardless of what the naysayers will tell you about the impossibility of dropshipping successfully on eBay, the fact is that the average customer doesn’t give a fig who shipped their stuff as long as they receive it in a reasonable length of time and it is as described.
That isn’t really such a tall order, is it?
