Effective Facebook Marketing for Your Dropship Business

Social media marketing is extremely effective and with Facebook’s 600 million plus members, you certainly have a huge audience.

The key to being successful with Facebook social media marketing is doing it effectively. Here are some tips and pointers that might help you be more effective with your marketing campaign on Facebook:

  • If you don’t already have a Facebook Vanity URL---do it now! As of last summer, Facebook added the capability of personalizing your Facebook business page. This simple step will make it much easier for people to remember you, and anything you can do to increase your stickiness, the better off you will be.

  • Design your own personalized Facebook Fan Page. Don’t worry; you don’t have to be a coding guru to be able to design a really professional, spiffy looking Fan Page! Facebook itself offers quite a few apps, and in addition, there are several great free third party apps, too.

  • Consider buying a Facebook CPC, or Cost Per Click, ad. Write killer sales copy, create a banner and landing page, then sit back and wait for the traffic to arrive!

  • Have lots of promotions! People almost universally respond to deals, steals and freebies, so when you offer great promotions, you are almost bound to rev up traffic. When one promotion runs out, start another one! If your dropship service has a membership fee, for instance, you might consider giving away a free month of service.

  • Use the free widget available to have a poll on your Facebook Fan Page. People love to be heard! They enjoy voicing their opinions, so come up with a catchy poll and generate some buzz for your Fan Page!

  • Remember to engage with your fans. After all, that is the whole idea of social media, isn’t it? Being sociable. So always respond to questions and/or comments and let people know that you are there.

  • Be sure to update your Facebook Fan Page with fresh, relevant content regularly and frequently. Remember that Google is now using a real-time search and social media platforms offer an excellent way to get picked up by the search crawlers.
