While it is certainly important to know what you should do in order to blog successfully, it is equally important to know what not to do! Here are some essential blogging no-nos that will help you stay on the right path for the effectiveness of your dropship blog:

  • Too many ads: Don’t do this! It might prove to be beneficial if you enter into a reciprocal ad deal with another relevant niche, sort of an I’ll scratch your back and you’ll scratch mine sort of thing; but don’t over do it! You don’t want to redirect a viewer’s focus to a third party while they are reading your blog article, do you? Keep ads to a minimum and your blog will perform much better for you in terms of promoting your business.

  • Bad titles: Your blog article titles are exceedingly important! In order to be picked up by the search engine crawlers, you need to make sure that at least one of your best keywords is in every title that you post.

  • Lack of keywords: Your main keyword or long tail keyword phrase should not only be in the title, but at least three times in a 350-500 word blog article. The most crucial placement of keywords is in the first sentence of the article.

  • Cramming keywords: It is probably worse to have too many keywords than not enough because this Black Hat SEO technique can get you blacklisted with Google and the other major search engines. Get banned from Google and you have basically committed ecommerce suicide!

There are other things to avoid when blogging for your online dropship business, but avoiding these mistakes will help a lot!
